Even though I hate doing this, I have to give the Bears some credit. Soldier Field is a beautiful stadium. I'm still not sure what I think about the view from Michigan Avenue. The outside - the strangest mixture of architectural styles I've ever seen - looks like a UFO crash landed on the Parthenon. Inside though, I was blown away.
Highlights from the trip...
- Just being on the sidelines at an NFL venue
- Bucky rolling once again
- Seeing how many Badger fans made the trip and how loud they cheered for Big Red
- Standing on the 20 yard line BJ Raji intercepted Caleb Hanie in the NFC Championship game (the above pic was taken in the endzone he scored in)
- Getting to peak into the locker room where the Packers were awarded the George Halas trophy
- Meeting some of the Chicago press
- Enjoying the beautiful fall weather (a perfect football Saturday)
- Eating the free press food (hot dogs and hambergers)
- Driving through the Wisconsin countryside to get there
