Badgers at Soldier Field

Even though I hate doing this, I have to give the Bears some credit. Soldier Field is a beautiful stadium. I'm still not sure what I think about the view from Michigan Avenue. The outside - the strangest mixture of architectural styles I've ever seen - looks like a UFO crash landed on the Parthenon. Inside though, I was blown away.

Highlights from the trip...

  • Just being on the sidelines at an NFL venue
  • Bucky rolling once again
  • Seeing how many Badger fans made the trip and how loud they cheered for Big Red
  • Standing on the 20 yard line BJ Raji intercepted Caleb Hanie in the NFC Championship game (the above pic was taken in the endzone he scored in)
  • Getting to peak into the locker room where the Packers were awarded the George Halas trophy
  • Meeting some of the Chicago press
  • Enjoying the beautiful fall weather (a perfect football Saturday)
  • Eating the free press food (hot dogs and hambergers)
  • Driving through the Wisconsin countryside to get there
